enCompass is a partner in the Drop-in Single Session Counselling program. Intern therapists offer FREE psychological support in planning for change and connecting with ongoing supports if required. These services are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

About Our Drop-In Counselling

  • Receive FREE of charge
  • Available to everyone (individuals, couples, and families)
  • Supports problem-solving and goal-planning
  • Provides referrals to other services
  • Support for various life challenges (substance use, relationship issues, job stress, anxiety, anger management, etc.)

How It Works

Single-session therapy is here when the person is ready. It includes individual, couple and family therapy. Our services include referrals to additional services that will support the desired change.

Drop-in counselling service is provided by Intern Therapists who are completing their Masters or PhD in therapy or other counselling areas. They will focus on individual strengths and abilities to help create a plan for the desired change.

In addition to extensive individual and group supervision, the program involves a team approach, offering the benefit of multiple perspectives. Following the session, enCompass staff will provide information on other services in our community that can provide continuing support.
